"This workshop was very informative and gave the opportunity to explore the subject further and also reflect on my own practices. Thank you for a brilliant workshop."

(Online Workshop – June 2020)

"Chloe is an excellent trainer and very personable."

(Online Workshop – June 2020)

"Highly thought-provoking and impactful workshop. It was excellent that it covered bisexuality in some detail – an area that I have found to be overlooked, and an area that has personal resonance for me, and for clients. Thank you so much for such a brilliant workshop."

(Online Workshop – June 2020)

"Great workshop, important information sensitively delivered."

(Online Workshop – June 2020)

"I really enjoyed Saturday and have already used the use of pronoun awareness in BACP accreditation application and will bring awareness to my workplace.

I really felt that you engaged the group and I felt heard.

Thank you so much."

(Rose Morrow – Sussex Counselling and Psychotherapy Training Day –  March 2019)

"I believe every counselling student or practitioner will benefit from this learning opportunity and experience. I believe this program needs to be implemented into training rooms all around the world and as mandatory CPD for practicing counsellors and psychotherapists, world wide."

(Online Workshop – June 2020)

"This is a powerful and very informative workshop. Chloe makes the workshop so accessible. It really makes you think. The experiences of LGB people are really brought to life. As a woman who identifies as lesbian, I had the opportunity to share some of my experiences of living in a heteronormative world, and it brought it home to me just how much I feel I have to conceal at times, and how often I have to 'out' myself due to heteronormative assumptions. Everyone can benefit from doing this workshop."

(Online Workshop – June 2020)

"It was a great day and you are a wonderfully, patient and kind tutor and so well informed. I think people attending your course will find it enlightening."

(SW – Online Group Training Day - March 2019)

"The course has been structured in a way to challenge and consider issues from a different perspective. The best thing was the introduction of vocab terminology and the experiential sessions which highlighted the assumptions we make. I also really enjoyed different media used to support learning – the videos were very thought provoking and relevant."

(Tom – As You Are Counsellor Training Day – June 2018)

Workshop Facilitator

Chloe Foster

I love working as a teacher and trainer and have over 17 years’ experience which includes training LGBTQ volunteers to run community events to raise awareness of mental health stigma, training young people to run mental health awareness sessions in schools and colleges, training volunteers to teach English abroad and training team leaders of UK and international community team projects.

Since completing advanced training in online counselling I have been adapting my LGBTQ Awareness workshops to offer them online. This is continuing to bring a more accessible way of gaining CPD and helping fellow counsellors become more confident in working with sexual and gender diversity.
