This workshop will simplify these key terms and more, which you need to know when working with gender and sexual diversity in the counselling room. 

Come and join us to help build your confidence as a counsellor working with clients who may have questions around their gender identity and sexual orientation.

Using the Gender Unicorn model I will help you understand the difference between gender expression, gender identity, sex assigned at birth and emotional/physical attraction. There will also be space for personal reflection where you will be encouraged to think about your own relationship to gender and sexuality.

This workshop will be very interactive, suiting a range of learning styles with quizzes, breakout rooms, videos, Q&A in the chat room, and a few slides.
